Join us and Diversiti UK to gain a solid understanding of EDI and its importance whilst also gaining 2 CPD hours on the GCC's focus for 2023/24!

Throughout this session, by partaking in individual activities, group activities as well as listening to information from the speaker you will:
- learn what EDI is and its importance in the workplace
- learn to identify what unconscious bias is and how to challenge it
- learn to identify ways that you can be more inclusive with your language and behaviour
The daily visit communication intensive with martin Harvey

Do you find it frustrating when people drop out of care as soon as their pain is gone? Do you hate it when people just don’t seem to get it? Would you like a practice full of people who proactively come in for care?
Come to “The Daily Visit Communication Intensive” and you will:
- Learn why people drop out (and what to do to reduce it happening ethically).
- Learn and apply powerful strategies to connect and communicate the value of chiropractic on every visit that are individualised to you and individualised to the patient.
- Go home with your own approach to providing a remarkable visit, every visit starting Monday! (The structure of the day means you will have your approach mapped out by the end of the day – you won’t go home with a long ‘to do’ list)

- Based on the influence literature (research from psychology, neuroscience and behavioural economics) so you know it will work for you.
- Patient-centred and ethical.
- Focused on the most important visit – the adjustment visit.

- 2023/24 UCA Working Party work to produce Chiropractic Diagnostic Imaging Guidelines
- What is Justification? Applying Regulation 11, as in the GCC 2022 Diagnostic Imaging guidelines and what to expect in the Chiropractic Diagnostic Imaging Guidelines
- What is Optimisation? Applying Regulation 12, including procurement of digital imaging detectors and better understanding of the technology)

Chiropractic & Pregnancy - module 1 with Kelly Mclaughlin
Saturday 10th August 2024, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Over the course of the day, we will teach practical tools using an ‘easy-to-use assessment protocol' to ensure you feel confident and competent whether you are new to practice or a seasoned professional!
You will learn the importance of the anatomy around pregnancy and birth as well as the physiological changes during this time. We will look at the stages of pregnancy and birthing and importantly, your vital role in this as a Chiropractor. We will discuss common challenges your pregnant clients may face and information for you to be able to support them effectively. You will be supported on how best to give recommendations for care to your pregnant clients to help you build a pregnancy and family-based practice.
We will provide up-to-date research, relevant and important information to ensure you have a deeper understanding and a new skill set to take back into practice with you.
This promises to be a fun, interactive, informative day and we look forward to helping you become the 'go to' person in your community for Chiropractic pregnancy care!
