Episode 2 - Philippa Oakley
Philippa is a qualified chiropractor with ten years’ experience within the NHS and private health sector, Philippa has a thorough understanding of the demands on team members and can help identify and initiate positive change within your practice.
Philippa graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic (WIOC) and was awarded the Royal College of Chiropractors (RCC’s) prize for best research project for her work into how thoughts and feelings surrounding back pain can impact a patient’s response to care. She began her career working for a group of private clinics with an NHS AQP contract, completing a PgCert in Professional Development (Chiropractic) with the AECC and receiving the Graham Heale Award for Outstanding Postgraduate Training Candidate.
Philippa is the clinical director of Acorn Health, a former inter-disciplinary clinic that successfully pivoted to a virtual health service during the COVID-19 pandemic, and through Oakley Coaching enjoys working with practitioners to help them develop their business, soft skills and improve their outcomes from care with coaching and motivational interviewing skills.
