Care & Share In the Community

For the past 5 years, the UCA has supported the Trussell Trust for our Christmas campaign. Donations to the foodbank is such an important way of supporting our communities with good nutrition which is vital to health. The Trussell Trust is a national charity helping to feed people through foodbanks and often the foods delivered can be of a low quality. The UCA want to encourages its members and practice members to donate higher quality non perishable foods this Christmas.

Our Care & Share in the Community campaign will take  place agin  in December.

Throughout the campaign, practice members can either:

• Donate food items up to the value of an adjustment
• Pay £10 and donated food items up to the value of the adjustment
• Make an online donation to the value of the adjustment

All food donations will then donated to local Trussell Trust Foodbanks.

The Trussell Trust have over 400 foodbanks nationwide providing a minimum of three days’ emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK.
